WESTERMAN GOVERNMENT & DEFENSE
Mission-critical fabrication. Delivered on schedule.
Custom fabrication, modularization, and full procurement scope management for DOD, DOE, and NNSA programs.
Federal work does not tolerate surprises. Westerman brings ASME-code fabrication, an NQA-1 quality program, and CMMC Level 2 controls together with disciplined buyout and subcontract management, so complex fabrication and procurement scopes arrive complete, documented, and ready for installation.

Fabrication Capabilities
Built and Proven Before It Ships
Heavy plate and pressure-retaining fabrication, structural steel, skid
modularization, and complete piping assemblies, fabricated, assembled,
and tested in our shops under controlled conditions rather than in the field or laydown yard.
- ASME code pressure vessels, tanks, and pressure-retaining assemblies
- Skid and module fabrication with mechanical, piping, and electrical integration
- Certified welding procedures, welder qualification, and NDE coordination
- Factory acceptance testing and hydrostatic / pneumatic proof testing
- Blast, coatings, insulation, and transport-ready preservation
PROCUREMENT & SUBCONTRACT MANAGEMENT
One Accountable Partner for the Whole Scope
Beyond our own shop hours, Westerman manages buyout,
subcontracted fabrication, and vendor scopes as a single contract
package, giving prime contractors and federal customers one point
of accountability for delivery.
- Buyout strategy, sourcing, and qualified vendor selection
- Subcontract administration, flow-down of federal clauses and quality requirements
- Expediting, milestone tracking, and schedule recovery planning
- Supplier surveillance, source inspection, and receipt verification
